Orchestra Members Perform
for Music Conference
 
 
 
 
Congratulations to members of the Centennial High School Orchestra who performed as part of the keynote address for the National Foundation for Music Education Research Conference in at the Westin Hotel in downtown Atlanta. It was an honor to perform for over 300 music researchers from across the country! Performers- Olivia Chapman, Sarah Leftwich, Jason Li, Darcy Malec, Sarah Maitland, Kyle Qian, David Wen and Caroline Wittschen.

National Honor Society Celebrates With Hillside
 
On March 2, the birthday of Dr. Seuss, Centennial’s National Honor Society members visited Hillside Elementary to help the students celebrate Read Across America and the Cat in the Hat Day.  Students of all ages enjoyed the celebration!

JROTC Color Guard Presents at American Legion

 
 

The Centennial High School Army JROTC Color Guard presented the National Colors at the Alpharetta American Legion Post 201 Monthly Meeting on March 15th, 2016. Pictured from left to right are Cadet A.K. Canzater, Cadet John Cronely, Cadet Felix Seversen and Cadet Noah Goodwin. Since August, the Color Guard has participated in over 20 events at school and in the local community.

Centennial Students Offer Aid to Flint




In response to the water crisis affecting Flint, Michigan, Future Business Leaders of America, 21st Century Leaders, and SkillsUSA sponsored Centennial's efforts to help by collecting over 1,200 bottles of water.  The Salvation Army will take the water to Flint on Centennial's behalf.
Thanks to all of those who brought in water to assist the citizens of Flint.



 
CHS Students Place 2nd and 3rd
in French Spelling Bee
 

 
Last Saturday Centennial students Tania Dominguez (left photo - center), Grace Ehui (left photo - right), and Danielle Murphy (left photo - left) traveled to Westlake High School to participate in the Fourth Annual French Spelling Bee.  Grace Hui won 2nd place and Tania Dominguez placed 3rd .  The photo on the right pictures the winners with their CHS French teacher, Ms. Wiesendanger.
