FBLA Students Receive State Leadership Awards
This past weekend several
members of Future Business Leaders of America participated in the State’s
Leadership Conference. There were
sessions on financial literacy, leadership, community service, and chapter
management. The conference provided
students with the opportunity to meet and compete with FBLA members from all
over the state. The conference brought
together more than 3,200 students to compete in well over 50 events. The Centennial FBLA team was extremely
competitive and placed in several categories.
Chris Payne placed in the top 10 for Impromptu Speaking. Jay Bowler and Adrian Hoefer placed in the
top 10 for Hospitality Management. Juan
Guzman placed 3rd in Business Calculations and will represent
Centennial and Georgia at Nationals in June in Nashville. Finally, Centennial received recognition as a
Bronze Chapter of the Year.
