SkillsUSA Leaders Earn State Awards
The 2014 SkillsUSA State
Leadership and Skills Conference “Champions at Work – Educated and Skilled to
Lead America” took place this past weekend. This conference allowed
students to participate in leadership training and compete in various work
force areas showcasing their “skills.” These
students of tomorrow’s work force possess the skills, leadership and desire to
make a positive impact on Georgia. Please congratulate the following
students for placing in a contest at the SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference.
Students competed against hundreds of other SkillsUSA students in the state of
Georgia. The students who placed first will go on to the national level in
June. Brandon Hamilton, our state Parliamentarian (a CHS senior) and Brandi
Terrell, CHS SkillsUSA Advisor, received awards as well.
