CHS Chorus Fall 2014 Achievements
The Centennial Chorus program
is completing an event-filled fall semester. Students began the year performing
the National Anthem at the 2014 End of Summer Celebration as well as a CHS home
football game. Additionally students organized a fundraiser to help the program
travel to Orlando Spring 2015. Most recently select students participated in
the 2014 District V Honor Chorus (event organized by director Chelsea Burney
for FCS, APS, and local private schools) and performed for Dr. Avossa for the
2014 “Principal for A Day” reception at the Chattahoochee Nature Center.
Finally senior Joel Terning and junior Elizabeth Raeside were selected to sing
in the 2015 All State Chorus in March.
Our next concert is this
upcoming Tuesday December 9th at 7PM in the CHS auditorium. Both
Haynes Bridge and Holcomb Bridge will be joining us on stage to celebrate the
holiday season.
