Ninth Graders Meet Freedom Rider

 

  

Ms. Barger’s ninth grade TAG language arts students visited the Atlanta-Fulton County Library this week for a Freedom Riders event.  Accompanied by Ms. Barger and Ms. Yelvington, the group watched the movie Freedom Riders then heard Dr. Bernard Lafayette, an actual Freedom Rider, speak about his experiences during the Civil Rights Movement.
