Mikaela Wiedmann Named AVCA

Player of the Week

 

 

Congrats to Mikaela Weidmann (pictured above center; left - Jessica Diaz; right - Losia Tomlinson) on her selection as the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) PLAYER OF THE WEEK!! This is a great honor for Mikaela, as the AVCA only chooses one athlete in the state for the award.

Mikaela has been a standout this year for the Knights and a big reason for their stellar 26-9 record this year. Mikaela will continue her volleyball career at UNC-Greensboro next year and has accomplished a lot athletically on the court as well as academically off the court here at Centennial.

The Knights are in action this week with away matches at Alpharetta and Buford, but you can catch them at home next week as they take on Eastside and Mount Vernon Presbyterian as they prepare for the region tournament.
