CHS Students Compete at State
German Convention

 



Centennial’s German program took 20 students to The State German Convention at Camp Jackson this past weekend. This event brings together hundreds of German students from across the state. Students took part in a variety of festivities including German lip sync battles, baked good competitions, language competitions, a professional magic show by a magician from Berlin, discussions with native speakers, and more! Please congratulate the following students when you see them on their remarkable accomplishments.

 

Aria Person – 3rd  in the state for poetry

Ana Springfield – 3rd  in the state in the spelling bee

Ana Springfield – 3rd in the state in the vocabulary bee
Adela Morales and Iman Holsey – 3rd in the state in authentic baked goods

Thomas Raker – 2nd in the state for upper level poetry
