Jacob Takes First Place County Science Fair
Nathan Jacob was awarded
first place in the Fulton County Regional Science and Engineering Fair and will
be competing at the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair in April with his
project, “A Natural and Efficient Solution to Thrombophilia.” Nathan says he “looked to find a better,
natural anticoagulant that could treat thrombophilia better that the
pharmaceutical version.” He “tested
blood clots against different natural solutions and discovered that the horse
chestnut solution produced safer and better results than the pharmaceutical.”
The picture above was taken at the regional fair on February 20th.
