CHS Chorus Travels to NYC

The Centennial Chorus traveled to the “Big Apple” March 26th-30th with Chorus Director Chelsea Burney and Drama Director Terri Howard. While in New York, students attended a Musical Theatre workshop where current Broadway actor James Brown and conductor T.O. Sterrett worked with students to learn the music and choreography to “One Short Day” from Wicked.  In addition, students toured Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall, visited Central Park, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and the new World Trade Center Tower 1, and saw "The Lion King" on Broadway.
